Discussing Zero‑Carbon Development | Guangzhou Mayer Explores Park‑Oriented Deployment of Phase‑Change Energy‑Storage Technologies with a Government‑Enterprise Delegation from Yichun
2026-08-27
Recently, a delegation led by Cai Jiangbo, Director of the Yichun Municipal Office in Shenzhen, Liu Bin, Deputy Director of the same office, Long Guowen, Executive President of the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association, and Chen Tianhua, Executive President of the Greater‑Health Industry Federation under the Guangdong Manufacturing Industry Association, paid a visit to Guangzhou Mayer. Zhang Yana, General Manager of Guangzhou Mayer, warmly received the guests. The two sides held a symposium focusing on zero‑carbon park construction and the on‑site application of phase‑change energy‑storage technology, exploring new ideas for technical cooperation in building a national‑level zero‑carbon industrial park in Yichun Economic‑Technological Development Zone.

The Lithium‑Battery Industrial Park of Yichun Economic‑Technological Development Zone is among China’s first‑batch national pilot projects for zero‑carbon industrial parks and the only national‑level pilot of its kind in Jiangxi Province. Boasting a high concentration of lithium‑battery industries and large‑scale industrial energy consumption, the park urgently requires advanced phase‑change energy‑storage technologies to address practical challenges including peak‑load shifting, waste‑heat recovery and energy‑efficiency improvement. Drawing on its core phase‑change energy‑storage technology, Mayer TES provides full‑chain services covering overall zero‑carbon park solution design, equipment delivery and energy‑system construction. Its solutions enable industrial waste‑heat recovery and peak‑valley energy regulation, and are adaptable to diverse energy‑saving and carbon‑reduction scenarios in industrial parks.

During the symposium, the visiting delegation gained in‑depth insights into Mayer TES’s phase‑change energy‑storage materials and its completed zero‑carbon‑park projects. Both parties conducted thorough discussions over energy optimization of lithium‑battery industrial parks, resource‑oriented waste‑heat utilization and supporting energy‑storage systems. Representatives from the visiting side introduced the construction plan of the zero‑carbon park in Yichun Economic‑Technological Development Zone, and expressed their hope to introduce advanced phase‑change energy‑storage technologies to fuel the green upgrading of the lithium‑battery industry. Mayer TES noted that its phase‑change energy‑storage technology fits well with the high‑energy‑consumption operating conditions of Yichun’s lithium‑battery park. It can help the park optimize its energy mix, cut carbon emissions and build a replicable benchmark for zero‑carbon industries.

This exchange has built a bridge for technical docking between government bodies and enterprises. Going forward, both sides will continue to deepen communication, explore the feasibility of matching technical solutions and launching project‑based cooperation. Innovation in phase‑change energy‑storage technology will support the high‑quality development of the zero‑carbon park in Yichun Economic‑Technological Development Zone and facilitate the delivery of local dual‑carbon goals.
