The meeting comprehensively reviewed the association’s annual key work and discussed plans for major initiatives including industry salons, enterprise site visits, industrial chain matchmaking, expert think tank development and the layout of exchange bases across Pearl River Delta cities. It conducted an in-depth analysis of opportunities and challenges facing Guangdong’s manufacturing sector, and clarified five key work priorities for the association to serve enterprises and empower industries in the next stage. During the session, enterprise representatives had thorough exchanges on supply-demand matching, industrial cooperation and market expansion, reaching consensus on multi-party collaboration.

General Manager Zhang Yana delivered a speech during the exchange session. She highly recognized that the association has built a communication platform linking government, enterprises and peers based on the positioning of "Manufacturing Takes the Lead", and all its industrial services fit enterprises’ real needs with remarkable implementation results. She introduced that Guangzhou Mayer mainly engages in high-end stainless steel pipeline systems, while expanding green manufacturing businesses including phase-change energy storage new materials, park energy-saving renovation and zero-carbon supporting facilities. Relying on the association’s platform, the company gains access to policy interpretation, industrial chain resource matching and industry communication opportunities, broadening development ideas for its green transformation.

Drawing on the company’s operational experience, Ms. Zhang put forward two suggestions for industrial development: First, launch targeted small matchmaking salons focused on Dual Carbon goals, advanced energy storage and high-end equipment sectors to boost in-depth coordination between upstream and downstream enterprises within the province. Second, organize regular technical visits and experience-sharing events at benchmark enterprises. Guangzhou Mayer is willing to open its factory premises and energy storage demonstration projects for peer communication and learning.
Moving forward, Guangzhou Mayer will fully cooperate with all work arrangements of the association and actively participate in industrial chain matchmaking, industry seminars and mutual enterprise visits. Leveraging its strengths in pipe manufacturing and phase-change energy storage technology, the company will strengthen business coordination with all council member enterprises. It will closely follow the provincial strategy of building a strong manufacturing province, join hands with local manufacturers to forge ahead, and help elevate the quality and competitiveness of Guangdong’s industrial clusters.
